The northeast states of India are currently experiencing the influence of a cyclonic circulation combined with strong winds from the Bay of Bengal. This weather pattern is expected to bring light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds, to the region over the next five days. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim are all anticipated to receive these weather conditions, with the possibility of isolated heavy rainfall in some areas. Additionally, the southern states of India, including Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Saurashtra & Kutch, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Rayalaseema, Telangana, and Karnataka, are expected to experience similar weather patterns over the next five days, with the possibility of isolated heavy rainfall in certain regions. Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, and Kerala & Mahe are also expected to experience these weather conditions from June 6 to 8.
The coastal regions of Karnataka are anticipated to experience heavy rainfall from June 8 to 10, while Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal may see similar conditions on June 6 and 7. Coastal Andhra Pradesh is expected to receive rainfall on June 6, 9, and 10, with Telangana and Rayalaseema likely to be affected on June 6 and 7. Konkan and Goa are predicted to witness very heavy rainfall during the same period, and Madhya Maharashtra and Coastal Karnataka may face similar weather patterns on June 9 and 10. A cyclonic circulation over northwest Madhya Pradesh, connected to a trough reaching West Bengal, will bring scattered light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) to Bihar, Jharkhand, and Gangetic West Bengal over the next few days. Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh are anticipated to experience these conditions for the next four to five days. Isolated hailstorms and squally winds (50-60 kmph) are likely over West Madhya Pradesh from June 6 to 8. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are forecasted to experience strong winds (25-35 kmph) over the next five days, and Odisha and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands may see heavy rainfall at isolated places from June 6 to 8 and on June 9 and 10, respectively.

The IMD has forecast heavy, light rain, thunder, lightning and gusty winds (40-50 kmph) over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on June 6 and 7. June 6 is likely to take place in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Light rain, thundershower, lightning and gusty winds (40-50 kmph) may occur over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan on June 6 and 7. Dust storms are expected over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh on June 6 and over Rajasthan on June 6 and 7. Isolated hailstorm is expected to pass over western Rajasthan on June 7.
