Indian Prime Minister has said that his British Counterpart David Cameron has got clear mandate in the recent polls and thay both are commited to the strong ties"on a wide range of issues".

"I spoke to PM David Cameron and congratulated him on his victory and conveyed my good wishes to him and his entire team," Modi tweeted.

"I told Mr. David Cameron that such an impressive win while being the incumbent PM makes his victory even more special," he said in another tweet.

Cameron’s Conservative Party has secured 331 seats of 650 constituencies.
