Karan Singh does not look his age at all. At the tender age of five the boy is 5 feet 7 inches tall. When he started school at kindergarten his parents were a worried lot. He was he started school. He was already five feet tall when he entered kindergarten.

Sanjay Singh, Karan's father, says kids would not come near him and ran away when he started school. But with time the other kids got used to him and now the tall child has several friends.
The five year old holds the Guinness World Records for being the tallest kid of his age. And in a few months Karan will turn six, but he’s already 5 feet 7 inches tall.

However, Karan Singh is not alone. His mother Shweatlana Singh is 7 feet 2 inches tall. That not all. His 25-year-old mother is apparently still growing at the rate of nearly four inches in every two years.

Shweatlana had held the Guinness record of being the tallest woman in India till 2012. Now Siddiqa Parveen, from West Bengal, holds the record at 8 feet and 2 inches.

Sanjay and Shweatlana were married in 2007. Sanjay, who is a dietician, says he fell in love with his wife in a Bangalore college and that they are a perfect couple. Sanjay himself stands tall at 6 feet 6 inches.
