Fundraising can be reaaa-ly innovative. This was proved by almost 70 participants who braved the cold weather to run for charity, that too in swimsuit. The bravehearts negotiated the 3km snow-covered course for the 8th annual Toronto Santa Speedo Run. The freezing temperatures did not hamper their festive spirit to complete the charity run.

Participants ran to contribute towards Toys and Games Fund at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children. The fund is meant for buying toys, art supplies and activities for children who will be in the hospital during Christmas.

The charity run on Saturday’s raised over $32,000 (£18,500). Since its inception in 2005, the unique fundraising charity run has been able to raise almost $250,000 (£145,000).
