Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass may work in another Bourne movie. Inspite of repeated denials, reports suggest that Damon and Greengrass are in talks with Universal for another instalment of the amnesiac assassin on the big screen.
And this time Greengrass will not only direct the movie, but also script the project. This will be the first time that Greengrass will write the script for the action/thriller movie. The second and third Bourne movies were directed by Greengrass.
Tony Gilroy had written the Bourne trilogy, along with a handful of others writers.
If the talks stick through, though everything is in the early stages, it would see Damon in the 'Bourne' sequel. The first three instalment from the franchisee had collected over a billion dollars across the world and made Damon an A-lister.
However, Damon and Greengrass were given a miss when Universal made Bourne Legacy in 2012. The spinoff had actor Jeremy Renner playing spy Aaron Cross, while Tony Gilroy got a chance to direct a sequel of the franchise that he had shaped.
