The new trailer of 'Gone Girl' was launched on Emmy night. The film focusing on 'Who dunnit?' seems to point a finger at Ben Affleck in the minute long teaser.
The eerie trailer focuses on unraveling a marriage that seems perfect.
The teaser opens with Ben Affleck wooing Rosamund Pike. Rosamund's character asks Ben "Who are you?" His reply is 'the guy who will save you'. And in the background runs an unsettling score.
The clip has a voiceover of Rosamund saying, "This man of mine may truly ... kill me." Then there is a footage of Ben making a public plea to find his wife that brings an unwanted spotlight.
Soon Ben Affleck's character becomes Suspect No. 1 as he fails to answer simple questions like who are his wife's friends or her blood type.
The climactic moment of the trailer shows Ben Affleck confronting with "Are you asking me if I killed my wife?"
The film also stars actors Neil Patrick Harris and Tyler Perry.
David Fincher directed the movie, which has been produced by Reese Witherspoon’s Pacific Standard.
'Gone Girl' will release on October 3.
