Actress Emma Watson will take horse riding lessons for her role in "The Queen of the Tearling". Watson plays the character of an athletic heroine in this movie.
The 24-year-old will also take sword fighting lessons. Besides she will learn other skills like snaring rabbits and climbing trees for her ucoming film.
The British actress is getting trained for her stunts in the film, which is an adaptation of a novel by Erika Johansen.
Emma will play the character of Kelsea Glynn, a fearless girl. In the film Kelsea is removed from her home at the age of 19 to become the ruler of a fictitious post-utopian country that has some dark secrets.
The "Harry Potter" actress will not wear make-up for a more realistic and athletic look.
One of her co-stars says that Emma cannot look plain, but her character requires her physicality.
Mark L. Smith is writing the script for the film. David Heyman will produce the project. The director for the film is yet to be finalised.
