Actress Lolita Davidovich has joined the cast of the movie "The Longest Ride". Fox 2000's drama is an based on a best-selling novel by Nicholas Sparks, with the same name.
Directed by George Tillman Jr., the film has Britt Robertson, Scott Eastwood and Oona Chaplin in lead roles.
The story revolves around a young couple and a much older man. Their lives intertwine as the older man reflects on his past love that he lost, as he lay trapped in an automobile crash.
Screenplay for this project was adapted by Brad Desch, Craig Bolotin, Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber.
Davidovich will play the character of a protective mother to the character of Eastwood.
"The Longest Ride" is being produced by Temple Hill's Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen along with Theresa Park.
Recently Davidovich had appeared in "Cinema Verite" co-starring James Gandolfini.
