Actor Johnny Knoxville is likely to star in 'Sick Day'. Knoxville is in negotiations to star in the upcoming Universal's comedy.
The comedy film centres around a man who takes a sick leave from office but his plans go terribly wrong. The day results into a series of disastrous encounters with his neighbors. The encounters may affect his wife's chance of promotion in office.
Jeremy Garelick will helm the project. The film will be produced by Imagine Entertainment in association with Edward Bates.
Imagine and Universal had set up the project for several years. At one point Chris Rock was rumoured to play the lead role.
