What a coincidence! Last night, Taylor Swift and her very famous ex, John Mayer, visited Los Angeles hot spot Chateau Marmont to grab a bite. And guess what, although they arrived at the same time, and left at different times in different cars, the singer-songwriter didn't see each other.

Rather, T.Swift was with Lily Aldridge and never saw Mr. Mayer come.

The Grammy-winning duo, who dated each other in 2009, split after years of romance. T.Swift reportedly wrote "Dear John" in honor of the breakup.

Mayer , however, slammed the song in an interview, saying, "It made me feel terrible because I didn't deserve it. It was really a lousy thing to do. I never got an email. I never got a phone call. I was really caught off guard."

He added, "["Dear John"] is cheap songwriting. It's abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, 'Wait 'til he gets a load of this!' That's bulls--t…It really humiliated me at a time when I'd already been dressed down. I mean, how would you feel it, at the lowest you've ever been, someone kicked you even lower?"

Mayer fired back in his own way though, by penning the single "Paper Doll" a year later.
