Dondakaya ulli-karam curry is typical, spicy, and yummy South Indian recipe made majorly of onions and red hot chillies. It goes well with hot rotis as well as rice.
Ingredients required for dondakaya ullikaram
Tindora (dondakaya): 250Grams
Cumin seeds: 1Teaspoons
Red Chilies: 4-5
Coriander powder: 1teaspoons
Garlic: 5-6 little pieces
Hoe to make dondakaya ulli-karam curry?
•Take a pan
•Pour oil and heat on medium flame.
•Add onions to hot oil.
•Add salt and saute. Color changes little.
•Add garlic, red chillies, cumin seeds, stir for few minutes.
•Transfer the mixture to blender and make coarse paste.
•Take little oil in the same pan and add dondakaya or tindora pieces, salt and cook on low flame.
•Add blended paste after it gets cooked 60%.
•Add coriander powder, sauté.
•Cook it again for few more minutes on low flame, covered with lid on it.
