About this Event

The Poornima(Full Moon) Day in the month of Ashadha(July-August) is known as Guru Poornima. This is a very sacred day on which special worship is performed to the Acharyas(Gurus). The celebration of Guru Poornima began in Shirdi around 1908 when Shirdi Sai Baba's disciples started worshiping him as their Guru. That practice has continued till today in Shirdi and elsewhere. Shirdi Sai Parivaar, an inclusive multi-faith organization, is celebrating Gurupoornima on July 8 and 9, at their center located at 1221 California Circle, Milpitas. All devotees are invited with their friends and family. The event schedule is listed in the poster for both days. We look forward to seeing you all at the Shirdi Sai Parivaar Center.
