In April 2025, JSW MG Motor India announced that it achieved sales of 5,829 units, marking a year-over-year growth of 23% compared to April 2024, during which 4,725 units were sold. The Windsor EV has established itself as the leading electric vehicle in sales for seven months straight since its introduction. With over 20,000 satisfied customers, it is highly regarded for its innovative features, attractive design, impressive performance, and strong value offering. The increased demand for the Windsor is evidenced by its collection of over 30 awards within the industry. Furthermore, MG is expected to boost Windsor's sales with the upcoming launch of an improved version featuring a larger battery pack set to debut in India next month. This enhanced model is projected to offer a driving range of up to 400 km on a single charge. The Windsor EV’s current 50.6 kWh battery pack is anticipated to deliver a peak output of 130 horsepower and a torque of 200 Nm.

Additionally, the new version is likely to come with several updates to its Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS). These enhancements may include features such as surround view monitoring, adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, lane keeping assistance, and autonomous emergency braking, among others. The introduction of the larger battery pack is expected to result in a price increase, potentially around Rs. 4 lakh. Meanwhile, the MG Cyberster 2025 is predicted to make waves in the electric vehicle market as the first all-electric two-seater roadster available in India. The MG Cyberster EV is likely to come in a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) configuration, featuring a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery capable of producing 535 horsepower and 725 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. It is also expected to offer an ARAI-claimed range of 442 km.
