German car maker Volkswagen has launched the new Vento. The sedan has multiple cosmetic updates like new chrome grille, 3D look alike rear tail lamp cluster and new ‘Walnut desert beige’ interior theme. The German car maker has made some important tweaks to improve the fuel economy of this saloon car. Volkswagen claims 7% more fuel efficiency for the petrol Vento and 2% better fuel efficiency for the diesel Vento. The German carmaker has given the Vento new features on the inside as well as the exterior. Two new colours are also introduced, Carbon Steel and Titanium Beige.
Vento will be available with a choice of three engines, 1.6-litre MPI and 1.2-litre TSI petrol engines and a 1.5-litre TDI diesel mill. The TSI car will be available with a 7-speed dual-clutch DSG transmission. The TDI-equipped new Vento will come with a choice of either a 5-speed manual or DSG automatic. The 1.6 MPI engine makes 105 PS of power and 153 Nm of torque. The 1.2 TSI unit makes 105 PS of power and 175 Nm of torque and the 1.5 TDI mill produces 105 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque.
