Fan of Fawad Khan have something to cheer about. The 'Khoobsurat' star will appear opposite Sonam Kapoor in the onscreen version of Anuja Chauhan's book Battle For Bittora.

Sonam's sister, Rhea Kapoor will be producing the film, in which the lead pair of 'Khoobsurat' will be paired again. However in this film Sonam's character will not be a loud person roaming around in fluorescent shrugs and garish trousers.

The Bollywood fashionista will probably get a regal look in the upcoming film.

The story in Anuja Chauhan's book centres around 25-year-old Jinni, who lives and works in Mumbai independently. Jinni's grandmother wants her to contest the Lok Sabha elections in her hometown Bittora. Here her rival is Zain Altaf Khan, an ex-royal. The book revolves around Jinni and Zain.
