Last weekend, box-office opened to two much-awaited big-budget Bollywood releases — 'Khoobsurat' and 'Daawat-e-Ishaq'. But sadly, none of the films managed to get the registers ringing.
Both the releases failed to hit the 10-crore mark within the first two days.
While Sonam Kapoor and Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan starrer 'Khoobsurat' managed to rake in just Rs 6.10 crores at the box-office, the collections of Parineeti Chopra-Aditya Roy Kapoor starrer 'Daawat-e-Ishq' stood slightly better at Rs 8 crores.
Yash Raj Film's 'Daawat-e-Ishq' is doing decent job at the multiplexes, but it's collections is dismal at single screens. On the other hand, Sonam Kapoor's film is earning much below expectations.
It seems both the films have failed to woo the crowd in the box-office.
