Happy New Year trailer launch is only six days away. The much anticipated Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer film 'Happy New Year' will release its first trailer on August 14.

Not much is known about the film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah. Bollywood is buzzing with speculation over the upcoming SRK starrer.

The first trailer of Happy New Year is only 6 days away from its launch. Before the trailer launch here's a peek view of its six main characters:

Shah Rukh Khan

After the smashing success of Chennai Express, SRK will be seen in Happy New Year. There is a lot of expectation from this Shahrukh film and trade pundits expect fireworks at the box office again.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone has two films - Happy New Year and Finding Fanny - scheduled for releases this year. Both the films will release within a gap of around a month. Finding Fanny will releases first and is expected to do well at the box office. That means, audience expectations from Deepika will be raised for Happy New Year.

Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek will be coming back with Happy New Year after the mega success of Dhoom:3. AB Junior is playing the role of a dark horse in the upcoming film. The actor has two films - Happy New Year and All Is Well – scheduled for release this year. First it will be Happy New Year and then All Is Well.

Sonu Sood

Sonu Sood is expected to deliver a great performance post his last film R…Rajkumar. The actor is being seen with the biggest stars of Bollywood this year. Sonu had appeared in Akshay Kumar starrer Entertainment, which released this week. Then there is Action Jackson will Ajay Devgn. So there is a lot of expectations from Sonu Sood in Happy New Year.

Boman Irani

Boman had last appeared in Bhootnath Returns, which was a success. Besides he has worked with all the stars of Happy New Year in the past. Boman Irani has been consistent in his performance so audience expectation is really high from him.

Vivaan Shah

Vivaan had featured in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Saath Khoof Maaf, where he impressed everyone with his performance. He is also doing well in theatre circuits. Being the son of Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah, there is a lot of expectation from him.
