The story of 'Dil Dhadakne Do' revolves around a dysfunctional Punjabi family out on a holiday in a cruise liner.

The film features Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Chaya in lead roles.

Like all films from the Akhtar siblings, 'Dil Dhadakne Do' is probably centred around relationships.

Shooting for 'Dil Dhadakne Do' has been mainly done in European countries like Spain, France and Italy. Reports suggest that some parts of the film have been filmed in Turkey and Tunisia.

After the success of 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara', this film is Zoya Akhtar's next big directorial venture. Zoya is also associated with another upcoming film 'Bombay Talkies'.
