'2 States' racing towards 100 crore club},{'2 States' racing towards 100 crore club

Arjun Kapoor-Alia Bhatt-starrer '2 States' is fast moving towards the 100 crore club. The film is at the third week of its release and still making good business at the box office.

Co-produced by Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala, the movie was made at a budget of approximately Rs.45 crore. It has already earned more than Rs.90 crore in India, and is expected to touch the Rs.100-crore mark, according to experts.

"2 States" was released on April 18 and  distributed by UTV Motion Pictures in over 2,000 screens all over India.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Sunday posted on Twitter, “‘2 States’ (week three) Friday (it earned) Rs.1.67 crore, Saturday Rs.2.70 crore. Grand total is Rs.91.68 crore nett. India business.

Adarsh's Twitter post also read, "Heading towards Rs.100 crore mark. Super hit.”

Directed by Abhishek Varman, the film also features Amrita Singh, Ronit Roy and Revathy.

"2 States" is based on Chetan Bhagat's bestselling novel with the same name.
