Newly weded Pakistani actress Veena Malik has made an official announcement of her retirement from commercial films.

The actress married Dubai-based Pakistani businessman Asad Bashir Khan in December. Malik stated that she would continue to be part of welfare projects while it's goodbye for commercial movies, reported Express Tribune.

Malik revealed that she won't sign for the role of heroin in any new film project. Earlier, the Pakistani actress had stated that she would continue to work in family-based films.

The actress while talking about her future plans as an actress had said that post-marriage she would act in only family-oriented movies and in commercials. Typical Bollywood and Hollywood films are a strict no, no, said the actress during an interview earlier.
