Anurag Kashyap is all set to experiment with Bhojpuri after successfully weaving stories like 'Gulaal' and 'Gangs of Wasseypur' from the Northern heartland. According to reports, the director-producer has plans to do a Bhojpuri film following the release of 'Bombay Velvet'.

Kashyap reportedly got in touch will Manoj Bajpayee to star in the lead role as the actor, hailing from Bihar, has familiarity with Bhojpuri.The film's script is being written keeping Bajpayee in mind. Kashyap's Bhojpuri film will be set in UP, which incidentally is his home state. Anurag, however want his film to be appealing to both Bhojpuri and non-Bhojpuri audience. The film maker also said that his film would get a nation-wide release.

Manoj on being asked about the Bhojpuri project stated that Kashyap would be the right person to talks about the movie. However, Bajpayee said that he would love to do any film with Anurag Kashyap.
