For those eagerly waiting for Karan Johar's “Dostana” sequel to come, the wait gets longer now.

For sometime now, it's being buzzed that “Dostana” sequel would return with Arjun Rampal and Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif in the leads. However, all that seems a remote possibility now.

Talking about his “Dostana” plans, Karan Johar asserted that he wouldn't produce another sequel until he is absolutely sure about the storyline and the script. Since “Dostana” deals with a highly sensitive subject, orbiting around gay relationships, KJo wants to tread cautiously.

"Blending a sensitive subject with entertainment is always difficult. Also, I have always believed that a sequel should better the first part. So, Tarun Mansukhani; (director) and I have decided to keep the film aside. When we find the right plot line, we will definitely make it," says Karan.

Meanwhile, Tarun is working on the Bollywood adaptation of the French hit “Priceless”(2006), starring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead.

"He is currently developing it. It’s a very exciting French film, and he is completely into remaking it," says Karan, who also reveals that his own directorial venture is also on track:

"I’m writing (the script) as we speak.I will start filming next year. The cast, and other details, will all be finalised when I have the screenplay ready," he says:

The original film starred Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka in lead roles.
