Someone has rightly said, "Nothing last forever." And when it comes to Bollywood bonhomie - no matter how seemingly thick and endless - it's all the truer!

The latest Bollywood “dostana” that seems to be fast falling apart is that of Shah Rukh Khan and close chum Karan Johar. That's right!

While KJo has recently gone on record to proclaim his friendship and loyalty to King Khan, sadly things between them aren't as strong as it was in the past.

That said, was the fallout between Karan Johar and SRK inevitable? Let's probe.

Fallout with Priyanka ?
Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan were close pals until Priyanka Chopra came in. Apparently, SRK accused KJo of bitching about Piggy Chops. Later, the Dharma head honcho tweeted back, “Using their hired PR machinery and hiding behind so called friends to get news into tabloids is nothing but spineless and lame.” This whole episode irked the superstar and his friendship with Karan began to sour.

Best friends with Salman
That year, Karan Johar was caught hobnobbing with SRK's closest rival, Salman Khan at the premiere of “Dabangg 2” . He also attended Sohail Khan’s birthday bash and was seen partying hard with Sallu. This further widened the rift between King Khan and Karan Johar.

Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan's last outing together was “My Name Is Khan” in 2010. Since then, the duo hasn't done a single film together nor are there any reports of the duo teaming in the coming days. While SRK has busied himself with other projects, Johar will be working with two of SRK's greatest rivals — Aamir and Salman in his upcoming ventures.
