A day prior to its release, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has renamed the title of its upcoming biggie "Ram-Leela". The film will now be called as "Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela".

The last-minute-change comes after the Bombay High Court on Wednesday issued a notice to Bhansali, film's co-producer Kishore Lulla, Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), Ministry and Information and Broadcasting, Eros International and Maharashtra Government claiming that the title “Ram-Leela” offends Hindu sentiments as the promos and posters of the film contain “vulgar, rude, offensive dialogues” and “objectionable scenes” that upset religious feelings.

This is for the second time that Sanja Leela Bhansali has changed the title of this film. Earlier the film was titled “Ramleela”.

In his recent statement to the media, Bhansali said, “It appears that some misinformation is being carried out regarding the said film (Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela) which we would like to clarify and state that the said film is inspired and based on William Shakespeare’s work Romeo and Juliet.”

After wading through a lot of hurdles, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film, starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles, will finally hit the theaters tomorrow.
