Sachin Tendulkar has defended Yuvraj Singh's poor performance in the World T20 final against Sri Lanka. The middle-order batsman has been widely criticised by fans and experts in the country.

The cricket legend reminded fans that Yuvi has made immense contribution to the game that it was wrong to single him out for the loss in the finals.

Tendulkar reminded fans about Yuvraj's contribution to the game in the past World Cup triumphs. He pointed out that the game of cricket was unpredictable, which makes it an exciting sport.

Cricketers value the support of fans during tough times much more than the applause they get on a good performance.

Tendulkar praised Yuvraj for his heroics in the T20 World Cup in 2007 and also his outstanding contribution in the triumph of the ODI World Cup win in 2011.
