The Delhi High Court declined to provide protection from arrest to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi liquor policy money laundering case during a hearing on Thursday. Following arguments from both sides, the court stated that it was not willing to grant relief at this point. A division bench consisting of Justice Suresh Kumar Kait and Justice Manoj Jain did allow the Enforcement Directorate to file a response to Kejriwal's application. The next hearing on the application has been scheduled for April 22, along with the main petition filed by the Delhi CM challenging the nine ED summons related to the money laundering case.

In response to the situation, Delhi minister Atishi mentioned that Kejriwal is willing to participate in the ED investigation and collaborate with the agency. However, she expressed concerns that the ED, in her view, is not an impartial entity and is being used as a political tool by the BJP.Atishi emphasized that the Delhi CM is prepared to engage with the investigative process but is questioning the independence and intentions of the Enforcement Directorate.
