Rahul Gandhi: Investigate Everybody Including Prime Minister In Rafale Deal

Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday stepped up his attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Rafale deal said that inquiry should be initiate on PMO for missing Rafale documents.

He said Government’s new line is ‘sab gayab ho gaya hai’  on missing Rafale files

In a Press Conference in Delhi, Rahul Gandhi said, “2 crore jobs are missing, fair MSPs for farmers are missing, Businesses are missing due to GST... And today, Rafale files are missing.”

"PM Modi performed bypass surgery in Rafale deal. The purchase was delayed to benefit Anil Ambani," Mr Gandhi said.

Rahul said, “They say they want to investigate media for missing Rafale files, but also investigate who conducted parallel negotiations in Rafale deal, for which there is proof.”

It is done to safeguard PM Modi, Everyone is equal under the law. On one hand you are saying, documents are missing, which implies these are authentic documents. Documents clearly state that Narendra Modi conducted parallel negotiation, Congress President added.

Congress President demanded criminal investigation for parallel negotiation conducted by PMO in the deal.Investigate the missing Rafale files but also investigate Modi for his actions mentioned in those missing documents.

“It's a blatant case of corruption, it is clearly stated that the PM of India is carrying out a parallel negotiation. Why should there not be a criminal investigation?,”he said.

He accused central government for misusing investigation agencies against opposition leaders,

“The problem in India is, there is a criminal investigation only on people who oppose PM Modi,” Mr Gandhi said.

He asked, “If PM is not guilty, why doesn't he himself agree for an investigation? Why did he refuse to form a Joint Parliamentary Committee?”

Hailed media which carried out article on alleged Rafale deal, “Media is being punished because they are being brave. I'm very proud that they have the guts to stand against Narendra Modi.”
