While attacking the government of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed-led Peoples Democratic Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) opposition leader and former chief minister Omar Abdullah termed the coalition's performance as "hundred days of disappointment and the hundred days of U-turns." "We are appealing to the government of India to come forward and announce as early as possible a package for Jammu and Kashmir," Omar said.

While releasing a document criticizing the Mufti led Jammu and Kashmir government, titles "100 days of U-turn government" in his first press conference, Omar said, as the premier opposition party of the state, he appeals to the Centre to address the "genuine concerns" of people, particularly on the question of flood relief.

"This (PDP-BJP) alliance was formed with the promise of providing assistance and aid to the sufferers of the horrific floods and for liberal funding. However, the state government is having more than `9,000 crore as pending bills and only amount available is the CM relief fund that is being disbursed," said Abdullah.

"Please go and beg before the Government of India. If you want I can accompany you. I used to beg before New Delhi for funds rather than making people as beggars," said the former chief minister.
