This morning Jitan Ram Manjhi resigned to his office before facing the Trust Vote in Bihar assembly, which led to the sine die of the house.

Bihar governor Keshari Nath Tripathi, invited Nitish Kumar to form the government and the JD(U) leader reported accepted his invitation.

He may have the swearing-in ceremony on February 22. Today Nitish blamed BJP for the turbulence in state politics, while BJP taken on Nitish for denigrating dalit leader Manjhi.

Nitish who resigned for CM post following debacle in Lok Sabha elections, today apologized people for his decision to quit.

During his press meet Manjhi said that though he is having the support of over 140 MLAs, he is resigning to save the lives of the supporting MLAs. He demanded for secret ballot method for trust vote.

With this episode BJP lost its identity and indulged in caste politics. If Manjhi joins BJP, will they showcase him as CM candidate in upcoming elections? And what is the future of Manjhi who fought with Nitish sect for CM post?
