Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh 2' is still in the lurch. Yes, despite launching a massive hunt, the film has failed to find its lead heroine yet.

Several A-lister heroines have been linked to this big-ticket project, but none has been zeroed down so far.

The latest contender to crop up for the flick is none other than Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor.

'Gabbar Singh 2' wants an innocent looking heroine and director Sampath Nandi, who has also penned the script for the movie, has failed to find a face that would do justice to the script.

A little birdie tells us that Sampath Nandi is impressed with her performance in the Bollywood movie 'Aashiqui 2' and deems that the actress completely fits the bill in his forthcoming project.

Shraddha Kapoor, who is the daughter of popular Bollywood villain Shakti Kapoor, made her acting debut in 'Teen Patti' in 2010 and later starred in Luv Ka The End. Both the film never saw the light of the day.

It was with 'Aashiqui 2' that she got a much-needed break in the industry. Following its magnanimous success, she has been deluged with offers. The actress is currently workinging in 'Ek Villain' and 'Haider'.

If everything goes as planned, then Shraddha Kapoor will make her big Tollywood debut alongside Pawan Kalyan in the movie Gabbar Singh 2. Can't wait for a confirmation!
