Analysis

Jai Simha Movie Review, Rating, Story, Cast and Crew

The first half of Jai Simha looks decent with some interesting episodes throughout. The comedy has been old fashioned and the narration of the film looks completely outdated. Balakrishna carries the entire film with his energy and the songs have been shot well. The interval episode has been interesting and the fight has been shot well. On the whole the first half of Jai Simha has been decent with some interesting episodes.

The second half of Jai Simha has been completely emotional but is a huge misfire. The film lacks logic and the narration has been below the par. Most of the episodes fail to make any impact across the audience. The songs once again have been decent but the direction has been completely outdated. The climax has been decent thought it has been predictable. Balakrishna shines with perfection throughout the film. On the whole the second half of Jai Simha falls flat.

Performance

Nandamuri Balakrishna who has been the king of masses is back to entertain the front seaters and he excels in all the available ways in the assigned roles. The actor has been extremely energetic and his dance moves have been stunning. Nayanathara is a treat to watch and she has been apt in the rol of Gauri. Natasha Doshi and Hari Priya had simple but crucial roles throughout the film. Prakash Raj and Murali Mohan have been decent while Ashutosh Rana, Prabhakar strikes hard with their performances. All the other actors have been decent.

The story of Jai Simha looks old, clinched and outdated. The screenplay is a huge letdown and the dialogues sound pretty average. The music and the background score have been disappointing. The cinematography is an asset for the film and the editing has been crisp enough. The production values looked grand and KS Ravikumar fails to impress the audience with his directorial skills.

Final Word

Jai Simha falls flat because of poor and outdated plot and narration. Though Balakrishna excels in the assigned role, that alone cannot save the film.
