In a recent study conducted by Javelin research firm, revealed that tens of millions of Americans lost their credit card data and Personal data. Americans are most liberal to give their important data to Banking, Shopping and Hospital entities.
Here is way to protect our data from financial, emotional and legal identity of thefts, that too many are free of cost
1. Preserve your passwords and social security numbers of you and your family members. Do not reveal them to anyone even if the organizations demand you to do.
2. If you forced to do, change immediately the login or swiping details of cards and financial works.
3. Do not respond to unnecessary calls offering credit cards and loans
4. Use detective tactics to trace your billing and recoveries data effectively. For this some organizations charge more, you can get all these from www.annualcreditreport.com
5. Many organizations go for bogus and false accounts and registrations on your name if they have your data for government benefits or for cheating others.
6. If anything goes beyond that expenditure you can confirm yourself that you are betrayed.
7. If some steals your identity, you can credit alert.
The Federal Trade Commission recommends immediately notifying credit agencies and requesting a 90 day credit alert.

Submit a report through the FTC website www.consumer.ftc.gov and click on the ‘Privacy &Identity’ button and create an affidavit you can show to your creditors.

With the above data you can make a sense while disclosing important information to any un known entity.
