Lenovo is planning to unveil Zuk Z1, its first smartphone  under its online-only brand Zuk. Media invites are sent by the firm for the launch of Zuk Z. However, there is no information about the date.

It is expected that the Zuk Z1 would be priced competitively. The cost of the smart phone in China is RMB 1,799. If converted to Indian currency, it will be nearly Rs 18,200.

The dual sim smartphone features a 5-inch Full HD display; 1920x1080 pixels resolution; octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor; 2GB of RAM; 16GB internal storage; expandable memory up to 32GB via microSD card; runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system; 13MP rear camera; LED flash; 5MP front facing snapper facilitating video calling. The connectivity options are 3G, 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS,Bluetooth and a 2,750mAh battery.
