India's ace Shuttler Saina Nehwal has regained her top spot in BWF world rankings that are released today. The news will help her to show the best performance at the Australian Open, starting on May 26.
Early last month, she has achieved the coveted position, but slipped to second spot in short period. The Olympic bronze medalist will have to perform at her best to beat the top seeded players from various countries.
She has clinched the Australian Open last time and should strive to retain that position also. This time she has been seeded second in the women's singles competition of the $ 750,000 Australian Open Super Series.
While, K Srikanth has retained his position in top five in men’s singles category. P Kashyap and H S Parnnoy also maintained their 13th and 15th positions, respectively. But, P V Sindhu slipped one position to appear in 12th place.
