Amitabh Bachchan, The Shahenshah of bollywood and his son wants to enter into cash-rich tournament Indian Premier League (IPL).

As per the reports in Times of India, the Bachchans first approached IPL’s defending champions Chennai Super Kings some time ago through their company Amitabh Bachchan Corporation .

Following unsuccessful negotiations, the company then approached first edition of IPL’s Champions Rajasthan Royals. There has been no development post the first round of discussions

Report confirmed that, Abhishek (Bachchan) met Manoj Badale in London some time ago, Badale is a coowner of Rajasthan Royals.

The Rajasthan Royals have been left without a celebrity face post the exit of actor Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra from the franchise following the 2013 spot fixing scandal. Bachchans’ entry will increase its celebrity status.

Besides, The Bachchan family, which already has interests in Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Chennayin FC and Pro-Kabaddi League franchise Jaipur Pink Panthers, is now looking for space in India’s most loved and followed sport.
