After inventing the e-cigarettes as alternate to the tobacco cigarettes and to save lives, many have been thinking the new substitute can pull back the smokers from the dangerous addiction. But, the recent study reported the e-cigarettes have not reduced the love on smoking tobacco.
According to the study report, 2 in every 3 e-cigarette users are also continuing to smoke tobacco. The results of a poll conducted on 1,150 adults revealed that there are more than 210,000 users vaping the non-tobacco cigarettes. The study also confirmed that the smokers are continuing both the tools of relieving from stress.
"E-cigarettes are becoming an increasingly popular choice for smokers looking for a healthier lifestyle and to save money. But there are better, more proven ways to quit smoking," lead researcher said.
As e-cigarettes contain "highly addictive" nicotine, most of the organizations are advocating for ban or restrictions on the marketing of the products. The re-usable cigarettes have been largely preferred by women and youth concerned about health.
As the modern vaping cigarettes could not able to pull back the persons from tobacco smoking, some organizations are raising their eyebrows over the necessity of the e-cigarettes.
