You may say that fashion is fun, exciting, transformative and more. Agreed! But there are certain facets of fashion that are detrimental to your overall well being and can do more harm than good to you. 1. Teetering On Stilletos
You possibly have already heard about this and it's true. Wearing high heels is indeed one of the worst things you can do to your body and its alignment. When you teeter around on the balls of your feet, your torso tilts forward and you lean backward. This, in turn, significantly stresses the spine and compresses its discs over time. What’s more, it can take weeks, months, or years of altered movement to feel the effects, like cramping in the toes and calves and pain in the back and hips.

2. Lugging Around a Tote
Totes are hep and convenient simply because you can carry your world in it. But since you lug all the weight of your purse on one side, the uneven weight distribution can cause muscle imbalances and a slew of alignment issues. It can also cause neck, shoulder, and spine pain when your torso shifts to deal with the uneven weight. Watch out!

3. Dieting to Look “ Skinny”
Cutting down your food consumption for looking “fashion skinny” can ultimately impede with your metabolism, causing you to gain more weight than lose down the road. Take care.
