1. Skipping meals: Think foregoing an essential meal like breakfast or dinner will help you in trashing the calories? Think again! Skipping meals turns your metabolism sluggish. Foregoing your breakfast, lunch or dinner for days in a row pushes your body into “starvation mode”, fooling your body to store more fast. The same goes for all the diets too. That is why it's important to eat well and at time to help lose weight effectively.

2. Workout for an hour a day but still having trouble losing weight. Understand that working out for a few hours and then sitting at the desk for the next 9-10 hours can slow down your metabolism. For when you sit for a longer time, you lose metabolism-boosting muscle mass, not a good news for anyone trying to lose weight. So take a break from walk and go for small walks during the say.

3. Not getting enough shuteye can affect your fat cells. Sleeping for 4.5 hours or lesser diminishes the ability of fat cells to respond to insulin, increased carb cravings and weight gain. SO sleep well to lose more.
