Think it's no big deal to wear make up or contact lenses to bed or not wash your hands after using the loo? Skipping out the basics might seem irrelevant. But mind, by taking shortcuts, you are only doing more harm than good to your body. We list a few things that you must do everyday, no matter how lazy your feel or time-crunched you are. Read away and enjoy a good health.

Wearing contacts to bed is an absolute no-no! Unlike your eyes, which can naturally clean themselves, wearing contact lenses during sleep will lead to bacteria build-up and corneal infection. If left untreated, you can also lose your vision. So take them off before you hit the sack.

No matter how rushed you are, make sure to wipe yourself completely dry after a shower. Leaving water between your toes and under your breasts can cause skin irritation, red rash and even lead to fungal infections. So dry off completely before you get going.

As a new-age women having to juggle work, home and kids, you may not feel like doing any housework at the end of the day. But by scrubbing the shower, weeding the garden or even carrying your groceries will give you a nice workout and save you some extra bucks too.
