Here are some simple rules of office dressing, which you can follow. Dressing right makes you feel confident and also politically correct.

Rule 1: Looking fresh is an essential part of women's grooming. Keep your skin clean and moisturised as it looks fresh and hydrated.

Rule 2: Get a neat look with an even skin tone. Make sure you wear foundation or makeup to conceal blemishes and get an even skin tone.

Rule 3: Conceal dark circles as they give an untidy look.

Rule 4: Your eye makeup should be simple. It's about enhancing your appearance and not attracting attention. So keep the electric blue eyeshadow for evening outings.

Rule 5: Give your eyes and lips a touch of mascara and lip colour. Mascara gives you a polished look, while lip stick or lip gloss will add spark to your appearance. Without mascara and lip colour your grooming is incomplete.

Rule 6: Short and clean nails is a must for working women. Avoid flashy nail paints and displays. Sporting long nails with nail art looks garish in office.
