Most of us have been applying cream to our face since childhood. In most cases, no one actually told you of a right way to apply face cream. Don't think it's weird when I suggest that there is indeed a right way to apply your face cream. Read on to find out more.

Cleanse your face

Whether its morning, noon or night always apply cream to your clean face. It's important to remove dirt, sweat, makeup etc before applying cream. This enables the cream to be absorbed properly into the skin and work its magic. Make sure you use a mild face wash or cleanser.

Apply on damp skin

Your face cream works best when applied on damp skin. It won't work if you apply the cream to your dry face. One of the purpose of face creams is to lock moisture. After washing your face, pat it dry and apply cream immediately to your damp skin. Follw this routine and mark the difference.

Take small quantities

Use small quantities of the face cream for maximum result. More is not always the best when it comes to skin cream. Besides when the quantity of cream is more you will need to rub it on your face for a longer time. Ideally, the cream should be absorbed by your facial skin completely, rather than leave a sticky feel.

Dab it all over your face

The best way to apply face cream is to dab it as small spots all over your face and then gently smoothen it out. This will ensure that the cream has been applied to every inch of your face.
