Healthy nails with a pink tinge looks appealing. But what is the secret of such healthy nails? Your nails, like the rest of your body requires care. Here are a few dos and don'ts of nail care.
Balanced diet
Nails are a part of your body and require nourishment. So eating healthy food will benefit your nails as well as the rest of your body. Consume lots of calcium-rich food items to help your nails grow stronger and longer. Avoid eating too much sweets as studies have revealed sugar to be a cause of brittle nails.
Manicures and pedicures
Pamper your hands and feet with manicures and pedicures. You can either do it yourself at home or make at least two visits to the parlour in a month. Filing nails regularly and maintaining their even length is known to strengthen nails. After manicures and pedicures apply double coat of nail paint to make your nails stronger.
Stop biting nails
Most important thing to ensure healthy nails is to stop biting them. Biting nails makes them ugly and uneven. Besides it's unhygenic and a bad habit. So kick the habit out.
Soak your nails in olive oil
Soaking your nails in olive oil makes them strong and hydrated. Try to give an olive oil pampering to your nails at least once in a week to get the pinkish tint nails.
