For all Rajinikanth fans, this Ganesh Chaturthi is going to be special than ever.

The Thalaiva has decided to launch the first look of his upcoming next "Lingaa" on August 29. That's right!

Despite being rushed, director KS Ravikumar and his team has squeezed out tiome to deign the poster for "Lingaa". And now, the first motion picture of the movie will debut on Friday.

Besides releasing online, the first look will be released in newspapers and ads. Interestingly, the first poster will bear Ganesh Chaturthi wishes for all fans.

Named after Rajinikanth's grandson Lingaa, this movie is set in pre-Independence era.

Rajinikanth will be seen in double roles in this film that also stars Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka Shetty and Hollywood actress Lauren J.Irwin. Others in the cast include Santhanam, Karunakaran, Jagapathi Babu, Dev Gill, Radha Ravi, and Vijayakumar, Manobala

AR Rahman has composed the music for this movie and cinematography has been done by R Rathnavelu.
