American aerospace giant said it has finalized the first flights of Apache and Chinook military helicopters which will be delivered to India following year.

India is acquiring 22 Apache attack helicopters and 15 Chinook heavy-lift choppers from Boeing.

"First flight of India's Apache and Chinook helicopters are important milestones towards strengthening Indian armed forces capabilities," Boeing India President Pratyush Kumar said in a statement.
