The NASA’s Mars Rover Curiosity has sent a stunning image of the sun set on the Red Planet, the images were definitely alien to us, as the sun was saying bye-bye in between blue colours.
According to NASA, the Sun dips to the Martian horizon in a blue-tinged sky in the images sent home to Earth last week from Curiosity.
The Curiosity used its Mast Camera (Mastcam) to capture the sunset during an evening of sky-watching on April 15. The process took place amid dust storms, but some dust remained suspended high in the atmosphere. The sunset observations help researchers assess the vertical distribution of dust in the atmosphere.
The Twitter account of Curiosity Rover has posted the image with “Let us go then, you and I when the evening is spread out against the sky”
