The film fraternity across the south has joined hands in rendering relief to the flood affected victims of Kerala, making benevolent donations to the Chief Minister's Disaster Relief Fund (CMDRF) in the past few days. The latest to join the trend is the film unit of the blockbuster Telugu movie RX100. The makers of the film have decided to auction the bike, which played an integral role in the movie and donate the proceeds to the Kerala relief fund.

The hero of the film Kartikeya took to Twitter to inform the details of the auction. In the video that he posted, the actor is seen appealing to his fans to make a generous donation for a noble cause. The minimum bidding amount is set at Rs. 50,000.

Starring Kartikeya and Payal Rajput, RX100 attained an amazing collection at the domestic box office. Written and directed by Ajay Bhupati, RX100 was produced by Ashok Reddy Gummakonda. The film was made on a shoe-string budget of Rs 4.2 crore and went on to collect Rs 21 crore at the box office.

Other actors from Tollywood like Allu Arjun, Vijay Deverakonda, Ram Charan Teja, Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu have likewise made generous contributions to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have contributed nearly Rs. 100 crores to the relief efforts in Kerala, by means of funds and providing food supplies and essential commodities.
