Brazilian football player Neymar may come to Kerala to undergo ayurveda treatment for his vertebral injury, according to TV channels in Kerala. The media in Kerala went berserk with reports of the football striker seeking ayurveda treatment in the state.

As per reports, the Brazilian Football Federation (BFF) has contacted Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy regarding the treatment for his back injury. But CM Chandy declined that any such development had taken place.

However, the CM said that football fans in Kerala had requested him to put a proposal before BFF regarding an ayurvedic treatment for Neymar.

Mr. Chandy revealed that he had asked Health Minister V.S. Sivakumar to discuss the matter with leading doctors in ayurveda colleges of the state. The doctors are studying the treatments that can be given to Neymar, based on the details of his injury through the internet, added Chandy.

The details will be revealed to media on Wednesday. The health minister will give an official version of the matter.

Chandy further added that they only have plans to put up a proposal before Neymar regarding the ayurvedic treatment.
