Beyonce Knowles went through an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction while performing on stage at the Great Lawn of Central Park. The singer's blouse burst open during the performance.

Mid-way through the performance Beyonce's lacy white blouse burst open revealing her flesh coloured brassiere. But Beyonce remained unruffled and continued to perform before the audience, which had 60,000 people.

The "Crazy in love" hitmaker was performing with rapper Jay-Z, who is also her husband, at the Global Citizen Festival on Saturday when the mishap took place, according to media reports.

Beyonce was not scheduled to appear in the performance. The audience had been expecting to see on rapper Jay Z.
