Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan is completely focused on Laal Singh Chaddha and the film missed the announced release date due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The makers announced that the film will release on April 14th across the globe. Aamir Khan today announced that Laal Singh Chaddha will miss the summer release because of the delay in the post-production work. The makers announced that the film will release on August 11th across the globe. The makers of Adipurush announced the release on August 11th and Aamir Khan requested them to postpone Adipurush after which the announcement of Laal Singh Chaddha was made.

"This is to announce that our film, Laal Singh Chaddha, will not be releasing on April 14th as planned. This is because we are unable to complete the film in time. The film will now be releasing on 11th August 2022 in theatres worldwide. We would like to thank Mr Bhushan Kumar, T Series, Om Raut and the entire team of Adipurush from the bottom of our hearts. We would like to thank them for being so helpful and understanding and for shifting the release date of their much awaited Adipurush starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan so that Laal Singh Chaddha can come on 11th August 2022" told the official statement from the team of Laal Singh Chaddha.
