Story

Satya No.2 (Puneet), is a corporate don of the present generation and wears corporate outfits- casual clothes, rimless glasses and even has an attitude to match the corporate honchos. He forms a company named 'Company' (amazing!) to execute his underworld activities smoothly. His employees market an intangible product called 'Darr' (bullshit). Company turns out to be a success and soon they are the most dreaded dons and they find a place in police records as most wanted and dreaded underworld criminals. His lady-love Chitra(Anaika) is more a show-piece than an actress.

Analysis :

Ram Gopal Verma's 'Satya 2' like his iconic 'Satya' attempts to impress viewers by showcasing the gloomy world of dons in a new light. But, 'Satya 2' and the original 'Satya' have nothing in common except the name of the lead character. The emotional connect that the original Satya made with you is completely absent in this RGV flick. 'Satya 2' fails to draw sympathy, or wrath for the lead protagonist. It'll only 'Bang! Bang!" with no smoke.

Performance :

Debutant Puneet is not convincing as the intense, brooding don. He looks promising but fails to convince as the don Satya. The supporting cast is also weak and fails to create the magic of 'Kallu'. The plot is a washout and Ramu relies on his trademark camera angles and close-ups. Even the background score of 'Satya' chants fails to impress.

Final Word:
'Satya 2' is nothing close to expectations. Go for it if you are interested in underworld activities and have nothing better to do.
